Service aspect is another quotient which nowadays automakers are pushing themselves hard into the context for achieving straight sales in their pockets with better ownership experience. Reportedly, Honda Cars India finally announced to provide the buyers ‘extended warranty’ with their products. Conventionally, Honda cars do come with 2-years standard warranty, whereas the company has now offered ‘Any Time Warranty’ scheme, under which warranty can be extended for up to 7-years after the date of purchase. As per their guidelines, owners of Honda can gain the benefit of this scheme under two conditions: the car should not be older than 7 years, and should have not have clocked more than 100,000 kms on the odometer. Owners fitted into these conditions can go into dealerships and walk out with an additional warranty of year or 20,000kms at a time. The warranty can be purchased anytime under the 7-years of purchase.

Under ‘Any Time Warranty’ service Honda Cars India promised to cover the replacement cost or repair cost of the parts that are subjected to warranty if found faulty. The cost of owning this service from Honda depends upon the car models, previous service records and condition of the car. Hence, the warranty scheme isn’t applicable only to newbies or current lined up models of Honda, for e.g. Amaze, City, Mobilio, CR-V and Brio. Instead the owners of discontinued models like Civic, Accord and Jazz too can avail it if they fall under the aforementioned conditions. It is advisable to visit the nearest Honda dealerships for better details and terms and conditions.
