Honda unveils Brio based MPV Mobilio in Indonesia, India may get it soon

Don’t be mistaken for the Datsun GO based MPV, this new vehicle is Honda Brio based Mobilio MPV which the Japanese carmaker had unveiled it at the ongoing motor show of Indonesia. Hopefully, the launch of this product in Indonesia means, India and other such developing nations of Asia too will be will receive it. It is said to be the first model of Honda in the low-cost MPV segment.

Hopefully, Honda seems to have tasted the blood of success in masses, and a vehicle like this is expected to launch at an expected price 150 million Indonesian Rupiah (approx Rs. 8.40 lakhs) there. The extended wheelbase of Mobilio at 2650mm, which is 245mm longer than the Amaze, suits to give in the plight of third row seating too.

Engine specification says 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel of Amaze and 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine of City will be dwelling its bay. The power of 96.6bhp and 116bhp respectively is said to retaliating out from under the hoods. We expect this vehicle to snipe us a glimpse of it on Indian shores at 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, production specific will be hitting our shores by the mid of next year.
