India’s second largest car maker and largest exporter of cars, Hyundai Motor India, recently presented their new Fluidic Verna to cricketers Piyush Chawla and Virender Sehwag, who were part of the ICC Cricket WC winning team that brought home the trophy after 28 years.

As encouragement for the team during the 2011 WC, the company had announced that if the team won the World Cup, all the members of the winning team would be gifted their new Fluidic Verna.

The company’s director of marketing and sales, Arvind Saxena, presented the cricketers with the keys to the car. He also said that it was a great pleasure for them to be able to provide the winning cricket team with their new Verna that offers Hyundai’s latest fluidic design along with offering class leading technology, quality and design. Their new Verna received a tremendous response since its launch, amassing 21,000 bookings to date.

After this facilitation in Delhi, the company intends to organise more ceremonies pan India for gifting the Verna to all team players in their respective states. Hyundai is the ICC’s official car partner from 2011 to 2015, having exclusive rights. The company organised many initiatives during the 2011 WC like Hyundai ICC last and first ball tour and fan parks for generating buzz throughout the duration of the world cup.
