Hyundai Xcent was on the counts of automotive buffs since days the Swift Dzire was launched with a revamp and a shorter boot. Filling the model till core, the Xcent remains as an example of Hyundai’s mediocre of feature loaded strategy. It is based on the same Grand i10 platform which is extended slightly. Now, the Xcent is an immediate rival to Honda Amaze too, it seems to have overwhelmed the makers with the responses and sales numbers, received 11,000 bookings in 30 days of launch, and more than 100,000 enquiries generated.

Xcent has remained a good seller amidst the young families in metros as well as Tier II cities.

Expressing his views over the meaty response, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing- HMIL said, “We appreciate and thank our customers for showing strong confidence in brand Hyundai and making Xcent a huge success in India. Xcent has created a benchmark in quality, features and technology offering higher value proposition in such a short span of time. We are committed and continuously working on the operational efficiencies to cater to the demand to reduce the waiting period.”
