Jaguar F-Type had compelled the world at its feet with a lot of accolades being slated in its name, and it even won 2013 car design of the year for its shimmering beauty and so.
Also seen some of the journalist at Navarra racetrack in Spain last week, the Jaguar official too had revealed blue prints for India and had created havoc on our local shores. Moreover, this piece of news had notched our excitement to some extreme levels, which we expect may also drive similar results from your side as well. The thing is, F-Type test mule is spotted doing rounds in Pune (India) without any camouflage, except the one that is placed to cover the ‘Jaguar’ logo on mags, coveted as if no one knows this beauty due to its other body parts and such.
Speaking at the occasion for receiving achievement, Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, said, “No design project has given me greater pleasure than the creation of the F-TYPE. It’s a project I’ve looked forward to from the moment I joined Jaguar, and it’s one that’s given my team and I great satisfaction. The F-TYPE is a sports car that is true to Jaguar’s design values – beauty of line and purity of form – and I’m honoured that the World Car of the Year jury has recognized our work with this award.”
As learnt, the Jaguar F-Type is scheduled for local market with tags namely, V6 S and V8 S costing around Rs. 1.5 crore badge.
Divulging other details, the V6 S boasts 3.0L displacement which propels 380PS at the max churn of 275 kmph, whereas V8 S seeks 495PS at 300 kmph. Both of the bespoken jags are stratified with supercharger and an 8 speed automatic gearbox that drives powertrain from rear wheels.
Need not to say, Jaguar F-Type is a two seater convertible, which right now did not had coupe version in the kitty, but as expected Jaguar may soon embed a one in its bay at a near future.
