The new Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce Roadster has been unveiled before the world audience at the ongoing Monterey Car Week in California. Like most Lamborghini cars, this is a limited edition one and only 500 units of this will be produced eventually. Addition of the SV tag means these are the most performance oriented and fastest of Lamborghinis out there.
The car has been fitted with a powerful 6.5-liter V12 engine capable of producing a monstrous 750bhp of peak power and 690NM of torque, which is more than enough to turn this car into one of the fastest Lamborghinis out there. What helps matters more is the lightweight body of the car which only increases the power-to-weight ratio of the car. The SV Aventador Roadster comes with a dry weight of 1575kgs only – a full 50kg lighter than the Aventador Roadster. With all this power under its belly the Aventador SV Roadster zooms to 100kmph from zero in mere 2.9 seconds and can accelerate up to 350kmph.
Deliveries of these cars will begin from early 2016. All this power and speed will come to you at a price though. Each unit of these limited edition Roadsters will cost Rs.3.48 crores ($530,075).
