Mahindra and Mahindra gets new logo

Mahindra and Mahindra group one of the country’s leading business groups with presence in over 100 countries, has revealed its new visual identity that will be reflected across all its global business.

According to Anand Mahindra, chairman of Mahindra Group said that Mahindra group has grown exceptionally well in last decade spreading over a wide range of industries. He further added that due to the growth and expansion a need for fresh new identity was felt that could reflect Mahindra endurance over several years. Change and continuity has always been the best part of the Mahindra’s story. And the new word mark will reflect both these factors in synchronization with the aspiration of the group to stand among the top 50 most cherished global brands.

Group Secretary and chief Brand Officer, Mr. S. P. Shukla said that the new word mark and the other element of the new identity have been adopted after extensive research and feedback. It marks the ever evolving nature of the brand. It has also been designed to target the urban and rural area customers to make them feel the reliability, dependability and growth of the Mahindra group.

The Mahindra group now features a new handmade work mark that builds on the Mahindra and Mahindra heritage while blending it with dynamism and modernity. The logo is lot more contemporary, visually impressive and sleek that further marks the company’s goal of shaping the future. It will also feature new energetic red colour with a darker shade of Mahindra red which is the prime colour displayed by the brand.

The unique element, Ridge completes the symbol and provides uniform identity to all print and communication channels across the group. Being inspired by the Mount Everest’s ridges that run to its summit, ridge signifies the eternal element that symbolizes pathway to achieve prescribed goals and aspirations. The new logo insures that it unites company’s communications.

Along with the various colour combinations that can be used to differentiate between the various businesses of the group, while ensuring identity of the each business house. Corporate and mobility house will feature red colour, B2C business will carry different colour combination and B2B will possess red grey combination.
