Mahindra’s celebration of National Road Safety Week also saw the SIAM-SAFE and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) in its activities.

Shouting its message loud and clear, the automaker had termed its theme for the week as “Safety is not just a slogan, it’s a way of life”.

At the ground reality, automaker has worked out awareness activities for dealers’ staff. Even the company has reached to school children with a video presentation educating them about the road safety. Focus of the carmaker for safety technology in a car was also represented in the presentation. Success of campaign relied by educating more than 400 dealer workshops across the nation.

Commenting about its gains, Sanjoy Gupta, Vice President of M&M Customer Care, Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said, we at Mahindra are working towards making the roads safer. Driver’s negligence is a major cause of accidents in India. Mahindra feels it is their responsibility as well in educating the audience about safety. It’s not only the current gen of drivers towards which the company aims at training them, even focus is also on the upcoming gen. Values learnt at the young age is retained for longer.
