Mahindra to increase the production of XUV500 for exports

Mahindra XUV500, which is the first globally manufactured SUV from the stables of Mahindra & Mahindra, has been welcomed with open arms by the Indian consumers. Even the car maker could not forecast the huge demand that this SUV was able to generate in the Indian auto market and the result is that the company is facing an acute capacity shortage. The problem has compounded even more due to the fact that Mahindra is also planning to launch this SUV in a lot of international markets within a very short time.

The Mahindra XUV500 has already been launched by the car maker in the South African market but the car maker is also eager to expand this vehicle to Australia and Europe.
