With the burgeoning luxury car market in India, more and more luxury car manufacturers are now entering India. Punjab and Gujarat are presently seen as two of the biggest luxury markets by auto manufacturers. According to a recent report in the Business Standard, luxury car manufacturer, Rolls Royce, is one of those who are considering opening dealerships in either Chandigarh or Ludhiana, before year-end.
The report stated that, Rolls Royce currently has two different dealerships in Delhi and Mumbai, having already sold 5 models in their Punjab market for the year. This report also quoted manager-sales for Rolls Royce, New Delhi, Pankaj Sharma, as having said that their dealership aims to sell around 25 models by the year-end in their Haryana, Chandigarh and Punjab market.
Uplifted by the recent growth of the Indian luxury auto market, many other luxury players have already opened their dealerships in India. Just last week, we heard about, Aston Martin, premium manufacturer of luxury cars, also known for being fictional British spy, James Bonds’ ride, announcing about their plans to launch more models in the Indian market.
