Movus, the name was doing rounds of industry for quite long, and was uttered as the new MUV of Tata Motors meant to be launched soon. Hopefully, the myth of ‘who is going to wear the Tata Movus badge’ is now cracked. And the answer is Sumo Grande!

The Sumo Grande of new badge will get major upgrades on exteriors and interiors, toiling it to be one of the coolest options in the Tata’s lineup. The interior changes will be in the form of music system with Bluetooth, USB, aux-input and such.

Meanwhile on technical front it is about to receive a redone suspension, with the engine to be playing the tuned from a 2.2-litre VariCOR diesel machine of 120bhp, kicking out the DiCOR type of powerplant from the list completely.

However, Tata Movus launch is planned to take place in this month, alongside the refreshed Aria.

We are waiting, what this new SUV of India based carmaker will do when it will be rolled out against the Mahindra Scorpio, leaving behind all the temps of Sumo badge completely.

The last grace, as Grande will be named as Movus, it means the Sumo Gold will have to stay isolated, because the Movus will be targeting a different set of customers which were left thronging between a long gap of Safari Storme and Gold.
