Tata Indigo emax CNG and Tata Indica emax CNG launched in 6 CNG markets of India

Tata Motors launched Indica emax (CNG) for Rs.3.99 lakhs and Indica GLX (CNG) for Rs 4.26 Lakhs ex-showroom Delhi (in India). Both the vehicles are dwelled with the CNG and Petrol bi-fuel system options in their engine, which is compelling them to return the carbon footprint of 0.251 g/km (for Indigo emax) and 0.338 g/ km (for Indica emax).

The new CNG vehicles of Tata Motors will be available in all the six markets of India: Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Tripura.

Indigo emax is reported to churn the output of 65hp @ 5000RPM, alongside an amazing fuel efficiency figure of 24.6km/kg. It can go upto an additional range of 230 kilometres (in CNG) over 650 km (in petrol) confirmed Tata.

On the flipside, Indica emax returns fuel efficiency as good as 23.7km/ kg withstanding an additional range of 230 kilometres (in CNG) over 600 km (in petrol).

“The introduction of the new variants comes as an essential step that underlines our commitment to be a sustainable automotive player,” said Mr. Ankush Arora- Sr. Vice President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (Commercial), Tata Motors Ltd. at the launch.
