Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a partnership between Kirloskar and Toyota has had some success with several models, but with Innova, a MUV has been one of the most successful for them. As per the report, the redesigned Innova will provide comfortable seating capacity for seven to eight passengers, capability to tackle with quintessential roads of India, frugal nature, quality of finish and fit and ease of driving. The report also mentioned that when it was originally introduced to Indian market, it took a while for the market to understand its looks. The raked hood, van like stance, large almond shaped headlamps and long body devoid of any most significant lines was definitely new and many slightly difficult to digest.
