Toyota launches the Limited Edition Altis Aero at Rs 11.47 lacs

The Japanese automotive giant, Toyota is arguably the largest carmaker in the world. After entering India under Kirloskar Motors in 1997, it celebrates 15 years of success in 2012. To mark this event, the Japanese automaker launched the all-new Limited Edition Toyota Corolla Altis ‘Aero.’ Toyota offers the Corolla Altis Aero at a mouthwatering price of Rs. 11.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol variant.

With the Limited Edition ‘Aero’ version of its flagship sedan, Toyota wishes to offer exclusive style and packaging to its prized customers. Translating from the nametag – ‘Aero,’ features excellence in aerodynamic design, with improved features including, two exclusive colors of Black mica and Silver Mica Metallic.

The added features include sporty treatment following the aerodynamically redesigned front and rear bumper, sporty spoiler that sports LED lights. It also gets new seven-spoke alloy wheels and chrome exhaust tips. Speaking of interior, the car gets two-toned interior with ‘Aero’ badge embossed to add elegance to the ride.

In terms of power, the Altis Aero sports J Grade 1.8-litre petrol motor complaint to the Euro IV norms. With the success of the petrol trim, a diesel version is likely to follow. Mr. Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director – Marketing, Toyota India, said “Corolla Altis Aero is being introduced in petrol variant only. Based on the demand we will introduce the diesel variant as well.”

According to Mr Singh, Toyota chose the Altis as it has been providing consistent good service to the customers and is a very trusted model in India. The initial target of 500 exclusive vehicles is set for September 2012 and the cars have gone on display at the dealerships from today itself.
