Triumph Street Triple R, Rs Recalled In The Usa For Electrical Issues

National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the NHTSA has released documents which show that Triumph is recalling R and RS versions of the Street Triple bike.

The recall is affecting only bikes manufactured between 19th March 2017 and 4th January 2018. The recall is being done to replace the left hand side switch cluster which has not been sealed properly and is getting affected due to water seepage. This is resulting in malfunction of the headlights and turn indicators.

Triumph will be notifying the individual owners now and will replace the switch cluster free of charge. It is not yet known whether this recall would affect any bike sold in India.
