Triumph Tiger 1200 XCx Launched In India

Triumph has launched its flagship adventure tourer the Tiger 1200 Xcx in India priced at Rs.17 lakhs. The bike was unveiled at the 2017 EICMA show. Internationally, the bike has six variants, of which only the Xcx variant has been launched in India.

When it comes to design, the Tiger 1200 Xcx looks identical to its predecessor. Minor changes include lightly different fairing design and metallised tank badge along with new LED headlights and daytime running lights.

The Tiger 1200 Xcx is powered by a 1,215cc, triple-cylinder motor producing 141HP, which is 2HP more than its predecessor. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and power is transmitted to the rear wheel via shaft drive. In India, the bike would compete against the likes of BMW R1200GS Adventure and the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro.
