50 Delhiites Get to Meet Delhi Daredevils Cricket Team as Part of Tata Motors’ Jiyo Dilli Fest

Tata Motors has been organising a festival titled ‘Jiyo Dilli’ for celebrating the spirit of the Delhi IPL cricket team, the Delhi Daredevils. Around 50 Delhiites were given the opportunity of a meet and greet with the Delhi Daredevils team. As part of this festival, Tata Motors gave all the Delhiites present an opportunity to have a fun filled time, by their association with IPL.

The auto manufacturer is the Delhi Daredevils team’s official cricket partner. As part of a promotional strategy, the company offered Delhi’s cricket enthusiasts a chance of meeting the team as well as wining match tickets and other exclusive merchandise through their contest titled ‘Test Drive Karo, Daredevil Bano’.

For this contest, separate zones dedicated to the Delhi cricket team were created in various mall and showrooms of Tata Motors in Delhi. All individuals who test drove the Tata Manza or Tata Vista were given merchandise of the Delhi Daredevils team, and were also entered into the contest. This contest received a very overwhelming response, with more than 1900 participants, of which 50 lucky winners were chosen, who recently met the Delhi Daredevils cricket team.

A signature campaign was also launched by Tata Motors on April 9, where their Tata Vista car travelled around Delhi, visiting various markets, business parks and landmarks, taking signatures from Delhi residents to wish their Delhi cricket team good luck. This action saw the participation from 20 different locations in Delhi, with 2500 individuals signing wishes.

The auto manufacturer also launched an anthem for ‘Jiyo Dilli’ with Euphoria, a popular Indian rock band. The song was composed by the bands lead singer, Dr. Palash Sen, and echoed the Tata Motors festival, ‘Jiyo Dilli’ and the pulse of Delhi. This anthem was played in the cricket stadium for cheering the Delhi team in IPL.

This festival was launched by Tata Motors on February 15, as a way to celebrate the style and spirit of Delhi. The festival presented many opportunities to Delhi residents with action events, exciting schemes and offers and web discussion forums on Delhi life. The Tata Motors festival aims to provide numerous opportunities to Delhiites for participating in events and keeping their team spirit high.
