Recent spy pics of the latest BMW 3 Series show a slightly more stylish model, compared to its previous version. Apart from the distinctive step between the bonnet and front wing, BMW decided against taking other visual risks with their primary income generating car.
Most of the radical changes are expected to be beneath its skin. One of the highest priorities will be given to fuel efficiency and it’s expected that the new generation codenamed as F30 could be aided by the new Efficient Dynamics tech from BMW. The F30 could likely feature the new turbocharged three cylinder 1.5l engine from BMW available in both diesel and petrol variants.
The company has reportedly already begun pre-launch experiments with the motor, which revealed that prospective buyers responded quite positively to the unusual soundtrack and performance of the engine. The new F30 is to be launched at the auto show in Frankfurt this September.
