Ford India has set out on a roadshow across 1,000 Indian cities as it celebrates its 1 lakh Figo hatchback wholesale sales, i.e. deliveries made to dealer. The company’s executive director of sales, service and marketing, Nigel Wark, said that through their Figo Bharat Yatra, they will introduce this vehicle to more drives, enabling them to get a first hand view of why this model has been so popular.
The roadshow began on Wednesday from Kolkata, and will reach many destinations including Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Assam and West Bengal. Starting next week onwards, two more convoys will leave from Bangalore and Pune.
The 3 convoys of Ford Figo’s will visit 18 different states. The car’s Bharat Yatra route has been planned meticulously for ensuring that the Figo also makes it to remote towns like Korba, Hinganhat and Gadchiroli.
