Hyundai Grand Achieves 1 Lakh Milestone In 10 Months

Hyundai Grand seeped into the hearts of Indians without wasting time. To its results, the sales sheet of Hyundai reported 1 lakh Grand sold in just 10 months after the launch since September 2013.

Hyundai is the first fastest auto manufacturer to achieve this landmark in 10 months.

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is the country’s largest exporter and the second-largest car manufacturer.

Apart from the good responses, the car also won several awards and accolades for its trendsetting design and other segment’s first features. Naming them, it was also declared as The Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) 2014.

The made-for-India car in both petrol and highly advanced and frugal 2nd generation U2 CRDi diesel engine offers a combination of optimum performance along with high fuel efficiency for city and highway driving conditions in India.

At the showrooms, Hyundai Grand is available in four petrol and four diesel variants. The petrol variants are lugged with 1.2-litre Kappa 2 engine, whereas the diesel ones comes equipped with a 1.1-litre three-cylinder, both mated to five-speed manual gearbox as standard. Petrol units get an optional four-speed automatic.
