We in the automotive industry falls to connect with number of other horizons in society, and if said to be specific, we can’t name all of them right now, but just recently got our hands on the inspiring telecom sector which had bestowed the automotive a fresh aura of advancements, relating to bits when our powerful metals screeches out there on the race tracks.

Unveiling the cover from news, Mercedes AMG PETRONAS will see the delivery of world-class trackside connectivity for the team at all Formula One® race locations using the Tata Communications global network.

Entering the new partnership, Tata Communications is now the ‘Official Managed Connectivity Supplier’ to the team.

In actual, the communications wing of Tata will deliver high quality and a high speed trackside connectivity to the PETRONAS, enabling them to transfer the real-time data from the Silver Arrow cars to any of the location at its headquarter in UK.

Ross Brawn, Team Principal at MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS commented, “Providing three times faster connectivity for MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS via Tata Communications’ global network means that the team has access to secure and agile trackside connectivity regardless of race location – it showcases our expertise and speed to lead when it comes to global connectivity, and reinforces our ongoing commitment to technology innovation within Formula One®.”

Well, Tata became the glamorous global face of India when it acquired the JLR moniker under its very Indian hat, but this handshake on the Indian business house is just another sort of the similar achievement which claims “India Shining” very loudly.
