It was already known that the Korean auto maker is working on an entirely new platform for the i10 and a compact sedan based on the same. The new platform will be used in the 2014 i10 and sedan. Here are some pics of the 2014 Hyundai i10 which was clicked by the blog, car scoop, although the car is mostly camouflaged, it gives us some idea about the major changes that has been incorporated in the hatchback.
The upcoming 2014 Hyundai i10 has gained some extra length and width, and the portion of the car has also witnessed some changes and has now become similar to the existing models. From the images we can also see a bigger grille, updated styling lines, roof has also gained some slope and a new fog lamp with the LED lining that gives it a more contemporary and family look.
The rear tail lamps have got their horizontal shape instead of the vertical one that currently appears in the production model. Hyundai has also confirmed that the new 2014 Hyundai i10 will be manufactured at its Turkey plant. There are speculations that the vehicle could make its debut at the Geneva motor show in March or at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The Turkey plant is likely to begin the production by end of 2013, so probably the launch may be scheduled somewhere in Q2 of 2014.
