Nissan officially reveals sketch of Duster based SUV, called as Terrano

Nissan’s Dusterbased SUV was in the hype of media since the last few months and thus the carmaker decided to put an end to all such rumored derivatives. Hence as an outcome, it now officially revealed the sketches of its upcoming SUV and had named it as “Terrano”.

Not much to say, but the Nissan’s makeover of Duster looks really stunning and is most probably better than the French version. We claim, it will definitely change the fortunes of Japanese for which they were vying over a long era.

No changes on the technical part, Terrano will boast the same engine of Duster pointed out with options of 85PS and 110PS in the diesel version whilst of only a 104PS choice in petrol.

Nissan's Duster based SUV is Terrano

LED lights, reverse parking camera and many more expected features on Nissan Terrano will make it a clear winner on the hand. But hopefully the AWD will add more charm to it which the French had awesomely missed out on Duster.

Only speculations for now, Nissan had a clear winner on its board that will definitely make the value proportion of its brand better than before. And the pricing of a premium Rs. 50,000 – 70,000 tag on it goes subtle than Duster, because long list of features doesn’t come easy and we hope added clauses will be worth it.

Sharing his experience on the upcoming newbie, President and CEO of Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd, Kenichiro Yomura, said “Terrano will play a key role in increasing sales within the Indian market. I am delighted to reveal both the name and the very first image of what will be a very important model for Nissan.”

Adding further he says, “You can see from the sketch that Terrano has a bold and distinctive design that I am confident will appeal to our growing customer base in India, as will its driving performance and range of other features that will be revealed at a later date.”
