Maruti Ciaz is the next big word going to cocoon the Indians for the most. Expected to launch during this festive season, it is expected to be priced between Rs 7.5 and 10 lakh.

For the said reason, Bollywood actor Ranbir Singh is spotted at Madhavpur (Porbandar district) in Gujarat for its television commercial shoot.

Seen Ram Leela actor dressed in the corporate attire, the car is seemed targeted to the working professional who are quite eager about their first car after the successful careers.

Needed no to worry, there wouldn’t be much excitement under the hoods. Casually the Indian carmaker is expected to plant the 1.4L K-series petrol (94bhp/130Nm) and 1.3L fiat Multijet diesel (89bhp/200Nm) engine, both borrowed from the Ertiga.

The spotted vehicle looks to be the top-end variant done with 16-inch alloys, projector headlamps, having expectation of features like steering mounted controls, rear AC vents, engine start button and many more.

Its immediate rival would be the Honda City, Hyundai Verna.

Hence, maybe very interesting to see whether the Maruti will stand strong amidst the competitions, where Honda has a diesel engine priced competitively. Otherwise, if this is proven successful, then there would be lot of possibility for Maruti to excel in the segment above than Rs 10 lakh.

Keeping fingers crossed!
