Renault Fluence facelift launched at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo

Renault has unleashed a slew of its new models at the Auto Expo 2014, which include the KWID concept. It was seen that the company also launched the Fluence facelift. The E4 version of the car is said to be priced at Rs.15.81 lakhs, while the E2 version is priced at Rs.14.22 lakhs.

This new Fluence facelift gets a new grille, which shows the global design of the company. The fog lamps of the car get daytime running lights and it also features a new R16 Kaleido alloy wheels. On the inside of the car, the dashboard gets a soft touch finish along with a dual tone. While both the E4 and the E2 variant of the car gets daytime running lights, only the top model of E4 features “Fog lamp housing with glossy black finish.” An additional option of interior chrome lock package and also exterior rear chrome lock package is offered with the E4.

Renault Fluence facelift

The electric defrosting is featured in both the E2 and E4 variants of the car, and a rain sensing front wiper has also been added to the E4 variant. Some of the other features offered with the E4 are the front parking assist, 3D surround sound by Arkamys, leather upholstery, 4 tweeters, Electro Chrome rear view mirror, rear aircon, driver seat lumbar support, rear sunblinds and also electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs with temperature sensor. The Fluence facelift is said to be powered by a K9K, 1,461cc diesel engine that can produce power up to 110PS @4000rpm with maximum torque of 240Nm @1850rpm. The engine of the car has been mated to six speed manual transmission.
