Toyota has launched the Toyota Glanza hatchback in India starting at Rs.7.22 lakhs. The Glanza is basically a rebadged version of Maruti Baleno and will be offered in two variants with three engine- transmission options.
The two Glanza variants are G and V based on Baleno’s Zeta and Alpha variants respectively. Engines fitted on the Glanza are BS-VI compliant 83HP 1.2-liter K12B petrol and 90HP 1.2-liter K12C dualjet petrol with a mild hybrid system. Transmission options include 5-speed manual and a CVT.
Features of the Glanza include automatic climate control, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, a height-adjustable driver’s seat , Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, precision-cut dual-tone alloy wheels, navigation and voice command functionality, steering-mounted audio controls and push- button start-stop system.
