Toyota launches facelifted Etios and Liva

Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd yesterday launched the new facelift version of its Etios and Etios Liva. Both the vehicles were launched in the much exciting final match of a cricket tournament that lasted over a month.

The Etios was revealed in December 2011 and the Etios Liva followed it in June last year. Since the launch, it has sold over 1,45,000 units. The Etios and Etios Liva have been crafted to give sharp and trendy appearance. New grades have also been embedded to enhance the lineup making them more trendy and sporty.

The new Etios have received few exciting exterior changes, including redesigned chrome finished grilles, rear headlamps with a unique fin design that imparts a sleek look, indicators embedded on the side view mirrors and an all new colour to impart style to the current lineup.

Interior has also received some refreshments with dual color tone, textured dashboard, embedded soft fabric. Ash brown colour gives the inside of the Etios a classy look. The facelift also comes equipped with a new 2-DIN audio with Bluetooth, AUX-in and USB support. The seats are now more comfortable and driver seat have been equipped with height adjustment feature. Combimeter has been blessed with new blue coloured illumination. The new AC control panels have been provided with clean air filters.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Managing Director and chief Operating Officer, Mr. Sandeep Singh said that the launch is a part of the product lifecycle in which company tries to bring in some refreshment to the existing lineups. He further said that he has taken the customer feedback and is quite delighted to offer these new vehicles to the customers. He also welcomed all customers and potential customers to enjoy and experience the vehicles.

In an aim to reach to the maximum customers post launch of the Etios and Etios Liva, Toyota is working regularly on expanding its dealership network. In 2009 it had only 7 dealerships, which have now grown to 220 all over the country. TKM is also looking to improve its reach and establish new outlets in the urban, semi urban and rural areas. Company is further planning to expand its current dealership figure to about 235 by the end of this month.
