Locally assembled Range Rover Velar has been launched by Jaguar Land Rover. The car has been assembled at JLR’s plant near Pune and this has resulted in a huge price drop by Rs.16 lakhs.
The locally assembled Velar is priced at Rs.72.47 Lakhs. The price is the same for both the diesel and petrol versions. Earlier, the car was sold through the CBU route and was priced at Rs.88.88 lakhs. The new Range Rover Velar can be booked through any of JLR’s dealerships and deliveries of the car would begin by May 2019.
The car would be made available in two different engine options – a 250PS 2.0-liter petrol and an 180PS 2.0-liter diesel. Both the cars come with four-wheel drive where power is sent to all the wheels via an eight-speed gearbox.
