2022 Audi Q7 Launched at Rs 79.9 Lakhs 

Audi India just launched the facelifted version of their best selling SUV, the Q7.

Following the petrol engine only policy, Audi has discontinued the famous 3.0L TDI diesel engine and will now offer the Q7 with a 3.0L TFSI petrol engine & a Quattro drivetrain for superior driving experience and off-roading capabilities. Dealerships had already started accepting bookings prior to the launch and the booking amount was fixed at Rs 5 lakhs. The Q7 is launched at a price of Rs 79.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Bookings for Range Rover SV Now Open

Land Rover announced a few days ago that they are now accepting bookings for the all-new Range Rover SV. The SV stands for Special Vehicle, and these vehicles are manufactured by the Land Rovers, Special Vehicle Operations department, the SVO. The Range Rover SV will be offered with two powertrain options, a 4.4L V8 engine & a 3.0L Inline-Six engine. The SV will get bespoke design features than the standard Range Rover. It uses handcrafted materials for the creation of bespoke & luxurious interiors. 

Facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno Now In Production

The facelifted Baleno was recently spied during a commercial shoot in Gurugram, which indicated its approaching launch. We now receive news from the Maruti Suzuki plant, that production of the facelifted Baleno has already begun to meet the delivery demands post-launch.  The new Baleno is expected to get a revised interior and exterior. It is expected to launch this February. 

Toyota Hilux Unveiled

The most anticipated launch of the year in India is from Toyota, the Hilux pickup truck. Toyota has unveiled the Hilux and the features on offer, however, it has not yet revealed the prices. Sharing the platform with Fortuner & Innova Crysta, the Hilux will be locally manufactured to keep the pricing of the pickup in check. Hilux borrows a lot of parts from the ongoing Fortuner to offer consumer-friendly pricing. The highlight features of the Hilux would be the Locking differential & the limited-slip differential, which will enhance the off-roading experience of the buyers. The Hilux is said to be launching in the month of March, and deliveries would commence at the same time. Production of the Hilux is already in place as the manufacturer is anticipating a high demand from this lifestyle pickup truck. The Hilux is expected to launch at a price between Rs 30-35 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

Mahindra XUV 700 AX7 AWD Deliveries Commence

The XUV has set new benchmarks and records since its launch, be it the no. of bookings received an endurance record at high-speed track or the crash test rating. The XUV has garnered a lot of bookings as well as a disappointing long waiting period for deliveries. Since its launch in October, the manufacturer has now begun the deliveries for the AX7 AWD variant. Mahindra had earlier expressed their difficulties in manufacturing due to the shortage of semiconductor chips, but they have assured the customers that they are taking the necessary steps to stick to the allotted delivery schedule.
