We have had news going through the internet about Maruti Suzuki’s possible test of a newly designed engine for the Alto. It has come to light that the car is being fitted with an 800cc engine that will ensure the car to be an efficient model in terms of fuel consumption andperformance. The car itself is being called “Alto 800”.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 comes with a beautiful rendition with a front that has seen change containing a small grille and headlights that are shifted their usual position. Alto 800 seems to be a combination of the A Star and the various Alto models. Akin to the A Star, the silhouette has a similar Beltline. The shape of the car brings out a regal look with a brand new design. The style and the finesse of the car, takes Maruti Suzuki to a new platform.

It has been observed that the car has been designed very carefully and with precision, in order to suit the various requirements of the customers. It would seem that more than one feature resembles the A Star, where the rear of the car is based on a classic style of a boot lid. You’ll also see a change in the dashboard. Apart from the physical change in appearance, the interiors have been entirely reformed. With a stately feel, the look inside the car gives you a luxurious atmosphere. The head rests has been designed to fit in along with the front seats.

Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is taller than its previous models and thus has more headroom than its predecessor. With the testing under way of the new 800cc engine, we believe that Maruti Suzuki’s engineers are working not only on the fuel efficiency but on smoother and satisfying performance as well. For many a year the biggest car maker has depended on this stand-alone brand ‘The Alto and sold over 3 lakh cars in the last year alone.

In comparison with the Hyundai’s Eon, Maruti Suzuki Alto is far ahead in the game, as Eon has managed to reach an average sales number only up to around 8000 units a month. Maruti Suzuki is planning on riding to an extreme front and leave the rest behind, for staying ahead of the competition is something Maruti is an expert on. And with the introduction of the Alto 800, things are about to get heated up for the company.
