When a certain model is phased out, very few hopes are there of it getting a new lease of life, except for the Germans like Mercedes, Audi and BMW. Certainly, the Nissan wouldn’t have thought over this. The Nissan X-Trail of previous generation can now experience that same like those Germans.
Spotted in China, the X-Trail is seen rebadged as the 2015 Dongfeng MX6. Those bumpers, integrated reflectors are the only exception to the original model.
As per to source, it is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 144PS of power and 198Nm of peak torque which can be mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT.
Hence, it cannot be remained as a doubt, the Dongfeng MX6 is bound to see the collaboration of Nissan at the manufacturing facility, which can be seen framed under the title of Zhengzhou-Nissan.
The showrooms will see it coming by early 2015.
