Bentley SUV EXP 9 F Rendered

Here we had been bestowed with the news of confirmation about the Bentley SUV EXP 9 F, and very shortly there came a rendering of same from one of leading made us who had made us to think over it again in the production specific avatar.

Previewed at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the EXP 9 F is the first SUV from the house of Bentley that had gone into production, which hopefully we can say is also the first among the ultra niche in the auto fraternity.

In the rendered image, which is actually done by Autocar UK, had taken cues from Continental and as per to our perception the production specific may also look like the same. Going to be based on the Audi Q7 platform expectedly, EXP 9 F will touch the new heights as what the Cayenne had done to Porsche despite being its debut attempt too.

Hence, speculated that it is already sold in 2000 numbers at the pre-production era, we can expect more of the numbers to rip it off soon in near future.

Confirmed to be launched in 2016, the VW Group who also owns Lamborghini inclusive of Bentley is trying hard to release some of similar nicks like EXP 9 F too in the near future for the Italian automotive badge, which today is called as Urus in the rendering.

Bentley EXP 9 F SUV Bags 2,000 Orders in Pre-Production Era

Bentley is getting serious about its upcoming SUV and therefore today we have got something latest yet exciting on its EXP 9 F badge.

Shattering the whole 2012 Geneva platform, Bentley SUV is now finally headed to production and had also bagged 2000 bookings in pre-production era. Even though the buyers had not been divulged with actual output of design, but we think that its name is quite enough to close all the deals. That’s not an end to it; prices are still left scorching under cover.

All the above mentioned detail is derived straight from Company CEO Mr. Wolfgang Schreiber. He too added that, there is a conflict going inside the company for selecting which of the production bay to be allotted for tempting out this new derivation. If we can slate the term ‘safe’ to it, then EXP 9 F should be considered for Bratislava because, there the Volkswagen had all sort of experience as already producing SUVs like Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and VW Touareg, which will now be soon be seen sharing their platform with Bentleys as well. Though, onto the other side of flip, Crewe maybe handling its interior because of the overwhelming production capacity.

Bentley EXP 9 F to enter production virtually unchanged

Bentley had a rather disappointing unveil of the Bentley EXP 9 F SUV at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show held few weeks back. It didn’t quite please the world with the boxy design and contrasting bold headlamps and large air damps. There were later reports of the automaker sketching a new design for an upcoming SUV, though it wasn’t certain if it will be the EXP 9 F production model.

According to latest reports, the EXP 9 F concept that debuted at the Geneva Motor Show will see no exterior modifications when it makes it to production. Company official, David Hilton claimed that the car was well received at Geneva and there is no requirement of an exterior update for the production model. The car represents absolute pinnacle of sports-ute segment in terms of design and practicality.

Based on the 20’s Blower Bentley design, the new SUV is in fact a blend of skillful craftsmanship, traditional luxury and state-of-the-art in-car technology. Powering the Bentley SUV is a 6.0-liter W12 engine that spits out an impressive 600 hp of peak power and 800 Nm of torque. Apart from the massive W12, there is also a 4.0-liter V8 that is good for 500 hp peak power and 650 Nm torque. Both the options come with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The most important power plant option could be a hybrid V6 that can pull the luxurious SUV from 0-100 kmph in under 5 seconds. It offers an all-electric range of 30 km, while giving 130 g/km of CO2 emissions running on gasoline.
