A new diesel variant of the Hyundai Creta has been launched in India. The new diesel Creta is powered by a 1.6-liter diesel engine and has been priced at Rs.10.88 lakhs for the E+ variant and Rs.11.92 lakhs for the EX variant.
The new 1.6-liter diesel engine puts out a peak power of 128HP which is way more than the smaller 1.4-liter diesel motor which has a peak output of 90HP.
The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Other than a change in engine, the new diesel variant is identical to the other variants on the Creta line-up.
