2013 Porsche 911 about to come to India very soon

Porsche has decided to launch a fresh product to the Indian automobile market with another penetrating four-wheeler. This new vehicle is the 2013 Porsche 911 that has symbolized the whole brand of Porsche with its lightening performance, sleek look and enchanting persona. This car that is a legend in its own right has not been through any kind of major changes in its exterior since it made its debut in the early 1963. The silhouette of the Porsche 911 has been maintained very well throughout this period and it has received just a few minor upgrades and changes so far that is not noticeable until it doesn’t perform under an expert driver. All that is about to change now, as the German auto giant will be furnishing this car with some major upgrades on its engine that sits beneath the bonnet and some minor cosmetic additions on its exterior skin.

911 Carrera GT was Porsche’s first car that was introduced in the subcontinent of India. The difference which was prominent here was this car was brought in by Porsche’s subsidiary firm Volkswagen. Now with the 2013 Porsche 911 the firm Porsche is about to make its individual entry to the automobile market of India with an absolute makeover on its interior as well as some on its outside surface. This new car will have 911 Carrera GT’s 10 per cent attributes in the form of the shape of the car, rest 90 per cent of the car will sport components that is redesigned in almost every manner. These fresh components will add on to the fuel efficiency of the car in most of the ways that will make the fuel consumption go down by 16 per cent in this new car in comparison to its predecessors.

Other major changes that are given to the 2013 Porsche 911 include a 100mm increase in its wheelbase, an increase of 56mm in its overall length while a decrease of 7mm in the height. A couple of huge headlights grace the front end of this new car with the very same old shape. The size of the air intakes has been increased for more oxygen to boost the combustion of the engine. The aluminium body of the car is a compliment to the performance of the car. Because of the lightweight body of aluminium the instant pick up and speed of this new car increases instantaneously which is sure to attract the Porsche fans who like performance with style.

Beneath the bonnet of the 2013 Porsche 911 a 3.5-litre boxer engine mates with a seven-speed manual transmission that produces 350 bhp of pure masculine power. This will also be the first car that would receive a transmission which would be based on the PDK or Doppelkupplungsgetriebe. With an eye-popping time frame of 4.8 seconds to cover the 0 to 100 km acceleration the new 2013 Porsche 911 will certainly make the owner jealous and the onlookers envious.
