Now for Rs 7.69 lakh, one can buy an Aston Martin…err…the new 2014 Ford Fiesta with Aston-inspired front grille.

Launched with the new front grille as a major attraction, the 2014 Ford Fiesta in India is reported to be designed under the company’s ‘Kinetic 2.0’ design philosophy.

Other changes like bigger fog lamps with bezel, new bumpers, refined tail lamps are concluded under the same package. And that’s what the company had called 2014 Fiesta in all new avatar.

Made available in three trims – Ambiente, Trend and Titanium, the 2014 Fiesta is perpetually a driver’s car, as engulfed numerous new techs, which are quite new to Indians that lend enormous convenience. Naming it, it is the updated the Sync system with AppLink reading aloud the text messages for its owners, answers phone, navigate to the places, and after all being an infotainment it also plays music. 15-inch alloys as standard, automatic rain sensing wipers and auto head lamps are the add-ons to the package.

In the current scenario, Ford had only launched the diesel variant, where excluded the petrol ones completely. A 1.5TDCi diesel engine is found powering every Fiesta by generating 91PS of power and 204Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

To answer the claims of those who kept popping the average/mileage of new Fiesta, Ford had officially claimed 25.01kmpl of fuel efficiency to be delivered.

Ambiente: Rs 7.69 lakh

Trend: Rs 8.55 lakh

Titanium: Rs 9.29 lakh
