The Mahindra Alturas G4 has been launched in India starting at Rs.26.95 lakhs. The car has been launched in two different variants – one two-wheel drive and another 4-wheel drive variant which would cost you Rs.29.95 lakhs.
The Alturas is basically a rebadged Ssangyong Rexton, but larger than it in terms of dimension. It is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine which gives peak power of 180.5 HP and a peak torque of 480Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed Gtronic transmission borrowed from Mercedes.
Features of the Alturas G4 include 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7-inch multi information display, quilted Napa leather seats, electronic parking brake, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera, HID headlamps with LED DRLs, powered tailgate and a two-zone climate control.
