Audi has launched its much awaited A6 facelift in India at a starting price of Rs.49.50 lakh. The new A6 facelift is a much improved version of the standard A6 with several changes made to its exterior as well as interior.

On the outside, the biggest change that one would notice is installation of the new Matrix LED lights. The shape of the headlights has been redesigned as well with twin lined fiber optics LED strips running along the length. Other important changes made to the outer design of the car include redesigned taillights with restyled indicators and new tailpipes.

On the inside, the A6 facelift gets new upholstery, Audi’s new MMI touch interface audio system, BOSE surround sound system, four zone climate control, new navigation unit and various other features. As standard feature the A6 facelift would come with eight air bags, adaptive air suspension, four zone climate control and Audi Drive Select.

Under the hood, the A6 facelift remains the same car with the same 2-liter TDi engine capable of producing a peak power of 190bhp. The engine is mated to a five-speed Audi S-Tronic automatic transmission.

The A6 facelift was first unveiled by Audi at the Paris Motor Show last year. Now that it has hit the market, it will fight for market share against the likes of Jaguar XF, Mercedes E-Class and BMW 5 Series.
