Audi Q3 petrol version launched at Rs. 27.37 lakh

The German luxury auto maker Audi has launched its new Quattro Petrol version of its flagship SUV, Q3 in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 27.37 Lakh. The Q3 SUV was earlier available only in the diesel variant and with the new petrol version company is expecting to expand its sales figures. With the inclusion of the 2.0 TFSIq engine, Audi Q3 has now became the most powerful SUV in the compact luxury segment in India, according to the company. The Audi lovers now have option of performance oriented 2.0 TFSIq or the highly efficient version 2.0 TDIq.

The company has already completed the first round of 500 bookings for Audi Q3 in just 5 days of its market launch back in June last year. Audi Q3 bagged such an overwhelming response that none of the other luxury SUVs have ever received. In the lure of the Audi’s top down strategy Q3 has maintained the Q DNA with the Quattro technology for permanent all-wheel drive and S tronic dual clutch transmission, which are the few technologies that it inherits from its bigger brothers like Q5 and Q7. Company is also confident that with the availability of the new powerful 2.0 TFSIq engine Audi enthusiasts will be witnessing more powerful and exhilarating drive.

Audi Q3
The new engine transmits about 155 kW/211 hp with the peak torque of about 300 Nm in the range of 1,800 to 4,900 rpm. Further the engine delivers power evenly that magnifies the driving experience. Along with the seven speed S tronic the four cylinder 2.0 TFSIq engine allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 6.9 seconds with the top speed of 230 kmph. The start stop system inducted with the engine enhances the efficiency bringing it to 11.72 kmpl. The 2.0 TFSIq engine also boasts of “International Engine of the Year” award in its segment for five consecutive years with the jury comprising of renowned motor journalist from around the globe.

Indian market is full of young aspirants who want to show off their individuality, keeping the thing in mind Audi introduced Q3 last year. After receiving the phenomenal response from the market it is quite evident that it has become quite famous among the young buyers who want to add a Q statement to their life. The award winning 2.0 TFSIq engine housed in the Audi Q3 is unique blend of dynamic and power packer performance that will further strengthen the demand for the SUV in the Indian market.
