Due to COVID – 19 there was a complete lockdown in the country in the month of April and because of which there were no sales. In the month of May, operations were started partially as there were some relaxations from the government, hence which resulted in some sales. Automobile Manufacturers started selling their products online and also started contact-less deliveries. In the month of May, we saw some new entrants in the list.

While 5 Maruti vehicles fared in the Top 10 list; 2 models from Mahindra and 1 each from Kia, Hyundai & Tata got in the Top 10.
Maruti’s Ertiga was India’s second largest selling vehicle for May 2020. Do note that the 1st ranked vehicle was a SUV and the Rank 2 vehicle was an MPV.
