The BMW 7-Series facelift in India has been launched starting at Rs.1.22 crore. As with the previous version, the facelifted 7-Series is also powered by the same 265hp, 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder diesel engine.

When I comes to the petrol version, it gets the 340hp, 3.0-litre six-cylinder. Both the engines come mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. A plug-in hybrid variant is also available with 286HP six-cylinder in-line petrol engine mated to an 113HP electric motor.

Combined output of the engine and the electric motor is rated at 394HP. The range topping version M760Li xDrive is powered by 585HP 6.6-litre twin-turbocharged V12 petrol motor which is mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. On the design front, the 7-Series facelift gets a more prominent grille surrounded by sleek headlights and a modified bumper.

Features in the 7-Series Facelift include heated seats, ventilation and massage functions, a tablet controller in the rear centre armrest to control in-car functions, latest iDrive system with gesture control, Laser Light headlamps, adaptive air suspension, multi-zone auto climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
