Chevrolet sells whopping 1.3 million units in Q2

American auto giant, Chevrolet,is experiencing the crest of its sales graph. The company has recorded one of its highest sales figures till date as it sold approximately 1.3million units in the second quarter of this financial year. The shooting up of the sales count means increment of 2.3%over the sales figure recorded last year. With such an appraising performance in the Q2, the American giant recorded one of the best quarters ever in the history of the company. In fact, the results have taken the confidence level of the company officials to a newer level.

Chevrolet’s Global Marketing Vice President, Chris Perry stated that seven consecutive quarters of record sales is solid proof that Chevrolet is delivering high quality products, easy-to-use technologies and expressive designs that people around the world are demanding. He added that the company is looking forward to bring in more new and great products to ensure even better second half of the year. With such statements coming in from the company’s side, one thing is for sure that the carmaker won’t lose a single chance to demonstrate its superiority, thus bringing in even newer cars and technologies in the market soon.

Quantitative reports suggest that out of the 1.3million cars sales recorded by the company, US alone contributed 513,538 units for the company. This figure has gone up by 5.2% over the last year’s sales records. Chevrolet’s market in the United States pointed towards the Cruze to be the favorites amongst car enthusiasts. The sedan alone has accounted for sales of 350,000 units out of the total sales figure. The American automaker is reported to be looking forward to the new Malibu and Sonic/Aveo. Its reliance on these cars directly points to the degree of company is looking at these cars to boost its sales figures even further.
