The Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is all set to be launched by the company on October 21st. The car is likely to be the largest SUV in its segment and will come at a price of around Rs.27 lakh.

The Trailblazer looks quite similar to the Captiva and comes with a split grille as well as massive bow tie logo. The car looks premium and classy with plenty of chrome as well as projector headlamps.

The Trailblazer is powered by a 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine which delivers 200bhp in terms of power as well as 500Nm of torque. This is fantastic for those looking to off road. However, the bad news is that it will be initially available only on a rear drive variant which will come with six speed auto transmission.

In terms of interior, the Trailblazer looks stylish with the black and beige look adding to the classiness of the car. Features include an automatic AC, cruise control, music system with Bluetooth, rear parking camera which have sensors as well as six way adjustable seats. Considering that this is the biggest SUV in its class today, the Trailblazer offers great third row seating space as well.

The Trailblazer is to be imported via the CBU route from Thailand and costs will still be kept at a low as a result of the trade agreement between the two countries. Chevrolet will be hoping that this launch will finally mark a success for the brand in the Indian market.
