Fernando Alonso gets brand-new Ferrari FF for the Malaysian GP victory

Efforts well paid off for Fernando Alonso, as he was presented with a brand new Ferrari FF for winning the last weeks Malaysian Grand Prix.

Though the Ferrari driver did not perform very well during the qualifying session and starting ninth on the grid, Alonso proved his mettle by dodging all the way to first position and claimed his second victory of the season. While the race was red flagged in the ninth lap, and the safety car was introduced for several laps, the two-time world champion showcased his skill and experience under the unforgiving conditions.

Ferrariā€™s first four-wheel drive, four-seater supercar was present at the airport on his return. The Spaniard took it for a spin to the Ferrari headquarter in Maranello, to meet the chairman Luca di Montezemolo. Later he went to meet the team technicians and mechanics who were not present to celebrate his victory in Malaysia. Following this, Alonso participated in the routine victory presentation of Ferrari flag, which is run up at the entrance of Scuderia department.

The Ferrari FF was introduced last year, marking a revolution in design approach of Italian automaker. Its glorious V12 pumps out 660 bhp power and 682 Nm torque. This Italian beauty will join the fleet of cars Alonso received since he signed Ferrari, which includes 458 Italia, Maserati GT Cabriolet, Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari and special edition Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.
