Ferrari 488 Pista Spider Revealed At Pebble Beach

The new Ferrari 488 Pista Spider has been revealed at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. The 488 Pista is the convertible variant of the Ferrari 488 and is set to rival the Lamborghini Huracan Performante Spyder.

The 488 Pista Spider comes fitted with the same engine that the 488 carries, but with different output and torque figures. The 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine churns out 720HP. The 488 Pista Spider does 0 to 100kmph in 2.85 seconds – .05 seconds slower than its coupe sibling and comes with a top speed of 340kmph.

The reduction in acceleration can be attributed to the increase in its weight – the Pista Spider is 100kg heavier than the standard 488.
