Ford India reached a new milestone by opening its first ever dealership at Gangtok, Sikkim. With the new dealership, Ford expands its presence in eastern India with this 18th dealership in the region.
Earlier this week Ford also started a new dealership at the Himmatnagar in Gujarat. With the two new dealerships in a single week, auto giant is working hard to gain popularity among customers in Tier II and Tier III cities in the country.
The dealership, Saharsh Ford has been opened at the Siliguri-Gangtok road with the floor space of 2,500 sqft along with the service center that stretches at 12,000 sq ft. Ford India currently holds about 250 outlets in the country and is planning to expand the numbers up to 500 by 2015.
On the occasion, Mr. Vinay Piparsania, Executive Director for Marketing Salesand Service said that company has always looked forward toward offering best in class experience to the customers and in this new year company is quite happy to bring their first ever dealership in Sikkim. He further added that they are obliged to open their outlet in Sikkim and also promised that people of will be enjoying the entire range of the reliable, economic and happy to drive cars from Ford.
