Harley Davidson Launches Low Rider S BS6 At Rs. 14.69 Lakh In India

Harley Davidson is an American premium two-wheeler manufacturer company, known for its stylish bikes. Harley Davidson has bigger plans for the year 2020 as industry switching from BS4 to BS6 and slowly Harley Davidson is updating the product portfolio by launching new products and updating the older ones. The American motorcycle brand has now launched the 2020 Low Rider S BS6 in the Indian market. The new Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is offered at a price tag of Rs. 14.69 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).

The Low Rider S, like its name suggests, is based on the Low Rider which is already available in India. However, unlike the latter’s chrome-laden bodywork, the Low Rider S adopts a custom-inspired styling. It sports completely blacked-out components, drivetrain, and suspension. The motorcycle also gets a headlamp cowl that houses a full-LED headlamp. Moreover, apart from offering a slightly upright position, the Low Rider S also comes with a single-seat to complete its sporty appeal.

The new 2020 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S is offered with two colour options: Barracuda Silver and Vivid Black. While the company website lists the price tag for the Vivid Black paint scheme, prices for the Barracuda are yet to be announced.

The Low Rider S is part of Harley-Davidson’s ‘Softail’ series. It features the 1868cc Milwaukee-Eight 114 V-twin engine producing 161Nm of peak torque at 3000rpm. The suspension set up on the Low Rider S comes in the form of 43mm USD forks at the front along with a twin-disc setup for braking. Harley Davidson has also given the Low Rider S a sharper, 28-degree rake instead of the 30-degree setup on the Low Rider.

Harley-Davidson India has priced the Low Rider S at Rs. 14.69 lakh (ex-showroom). This positions it a premium of around Rs. 95,000 over the standard Low Rider.
