Hero Xtreme 200R Unveil In India

The Hero Xtreme 200 S, the naked sportsbike which made its debut at last year’s Auto Expo, has been officially unveiled today as a production ready version.

The bike has been built on a Diamond platform has been rechristened Hero Xtreme 200R and will serve as the company’s flagship motorcycle in the time to come.

The Hero Xtreme 200R will be powered by a 199.6 cc single cylinder air cooled engine giving out a peak output of 18.4 PS and a peak torque of 17.1 Nm. Design wise, the Xtreme 200 R appears edgy with sporty tank extensions, LED pilot lamps, digi-analogue instrument console, thin contoured seat, sharp edged tailpiece with LED taillight, belly pan in air vents and a simple silencer with silver guard.

The bike would be launched in March and deliveries would commence from April 2018.
