The all new CBR300R in India has been launched at Rs.2.41 lakhs. The bike would be sold in India via the CKD route and would compete against the likes of KTM 390 and the much expensive BMW G 310 R. Features of the CBR300R includes LED headlight, a digital instrument cluster and a dual channel ABS.

The CBR300R is powered by 30.4HP 286cc, liquid-cooled, four-valve, single-cylinder DOHC engine which comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The India spec CBR300R would use Michelin Pilot Street Tyres instead of the Dunlop tyres found on the international version.
