The HRT Formula 1 group has given confirmation that it is in search of a new proprietor after being put on the market by Thesan Capital.

Spanish investment firm Thesan took over the group from ex-proprietor Jose Ramon Carabante during July 2011.

Since then the group has moved to a novel unit situated in Madrid, where the Spanish team has commenced working from this term with Indian driver Narain Karthikeyan and Spaniard Pedro De La Rosa as drivers.

HRT has been at the rear of the network during 2012 and is presently in last position in the ranks.

AUTOSPORT comprehends the group appeared near to a sale to a Middle East-based purchaser by October end, and that discussions are still continuing.

Spanish investment company stated that it was time for the group to discover a new possessor, which would aid it progress.
