The unveiling of the new Grand i10 sedan is just round the corner, and this time it has been spotted only in a body cover instead of being camouflaged. Looking at the car one can say that it shares a lot of similarities in terms of looks with the Grand i10 hatchback. Just like the hatchback, it also carries over the body cladding. Up to the C-pillar, the side profile of the car is more or less the same, after which the roofline flows into the boot of the car.

This new sedan is 3.76 meters that qualify it for Government concessions. In order to give the car a sporty look, the rear loading lip is a little high. The rear end of the car will feature the same lights as that of the hatchback. The interiors of the car are also the same as the Grand i10 hatchback. It is said that the i10 hatchback features the best comfort in its class, which will make the new sedan even more interesting with the same features.

The Hyundai Grand i10 sedan is expected to be powered by a 1.4-litre diesel engine that can produce power up to 89bhp with maximum torque of 219Nm. It will also be offered to the customers in a petrol variant that will feature a 1.2-litre kappa engine. The engine of the car can produce 81bhp with a torque of 114Nm. The car will be offered with a five-speed automatic gearbox, while the petrol variant will have the four-speed AT. This new sedan will compete with the other C-segment cars like Amaze and Swift Dzire, which are already doing quite well in the market.
